This small selection from my archive shows the wide range of techniques I currently use. There are cyanotypes, negative film work and digital images. Some are enhanced and manipulated, chemically or in the computer. The resulting pictures may be abstract or representational. I also apply photographic processes in some of my textile work.
I have been working in textiles since my mother taught me to sew and my grandmother taught me to knit. A fascination with texture led me to learn felting skills and my tendency to experiment has produce work that crosses over into jewellery and uses alternative photographic techniques.
