NEW WORK
Mobius mufflers in a knitted in multitude of rich colours were something of an obsession as I recovered from my second operation this year. These versatile loop scarves can be worn around the neck or the ears, where ever you need a little extra warmth. A large selection can be found in Fabhatrix but only on a personal visit to the shop at 13 Cowgatehead, Edinburgh.

A new collection of mixed textile work was delivered to rm art in December - hand-knitted cord necklaces, Mobius mufflers, ultra-light knitted mohair scarves with needle felt details, recycled sweater brooches and an cool cream selection pots and bowls in native British Bluefaced Leicester wool. Visit the website at rm art or, better still, drop in to the gallery at 51 St Stephen's Street, Stockbridge, Edinburgh.

Photographs of my new work will appear on this site in a few weeks, when I revise the galleries to reflect latest endevours.

ALBA AD ASTRA
My 2009 Edinburgh Festival Fringe exhibition, Alba ad Astra, in Transreal Fiction has now passed but not before it was described by Scotland on Sunday as "the best contribution to Homecoming Year" so far. This experiment with narrative and image generated lots of interest during its main run and at its reprise for the Coburg House Open Studios weekend.

The book continues to be available online in the Alba ad Astra gallery or when you visit Transreal Fiction, 7 Cowgatehead, Edinburgh.
